Family weekend/church harvest night

This week my niece and nephew had 2 days off school so I went to pick them up and bring them to our house till yesterday. Then my parents came for the weekend and my brother and sis in law came yesterday for the day and to pick up their kids. We had a fun time. Then last night we had a church harvest night. Hot dog roast and other yummy picnic stuff. We ended the evening with singing and a devotional around the bonfire. We had a wonderful time of fun food and fellowship. Some of the kids played ladder ball and corn hole. Here are few pics of the week and weekend.

Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day? It's amazing how you can remember where you were and what u were doing all those years ago yet we can't remember what we did last week. May God give comfort to the families of the fallen.

Here is a link to a fire located not too far from my sister, brother in law and nephew. It is not heading their direction but if it continues the direction it is going it could close off their access to Missoula where they both work. They have a lot of smoke at their house though. 1200 homes are at risk and 5 have been burnt.

Dan turns 30

Dan turns 30 on Monday but we did a surprise party for him tonight after church prayer meeting. He was truly surprised. As a family we will do his gifts on monday. Here are a few pics.

At our Wesleyan Holiness camp held at Clinton camp grounds. Jaren loved going to Childrens meeting. Yes that is Jaren singing very loud but being that he wasn't able to hardly say anything last year it was so nice to hear him teying.

Rain, Rain, Flooding

Yesterday we got 4 1/2 inches of rain in one hour. We were watching the flooding outside and jaren got down on his hands and knees by one of are heat vents and said water Mommy. We didn't think much of it till I walked by the basement door and heard water pouring. We went down to find water pouring in around the sides of the window down there. There was water everywhere. Thankfully the sub pump was working good but it couldn't keep up. There ended up being water in every room in the basement. All coming from different sources. It was a crazy evening.

I was finally able to get the kids year pictures done. I was very pleased with how they turned out.

Grandpa Butler

Yesterday morning Dans Grandpa Paul Butler passed from this life into Eternal Bliss. He will be missed by many and the memories are great. He loved to play with kids and teens. Weather on the basketball court or on the playground. Here are a few pictures in his remembrance. Dan will be trying to get down to Hobe Sound for the service.
