Travel System

Today we went to get a Graco Travel System which included: Stroller, car seat, 2 bases and infant head rest. It is Green and cream plaid with a few purple stripes. We got all of this for a total of $50. It was only used for one child and is in basically new condition. I was so happy because in the Store the this Graco brand is over 200. Here are a couple of picture of it.

Update on Sheyanne Young

Just wanted to post a picture of Sheyanne, Bruce and Ashley Young's little baby. Got to see her today. She gained almost 1 pound in 1 week. She changes so much everytime you see her.

Baby's room

We are trying to do Noah's Ark things in the baby's room but have not found much of anything until our good friends Sam and Christine West gave us a bunch of Vinyl wall stickers. I was able to decorate all the walls with these. Thank you so much for the stickers Sam and Christine. So last night I got to working on them and it turned out really cute. It is hard to get a feel of the whole room since I had to break it up into several pictures, but at least you can see what they look like. I am still doing other animal things such as things for the crib, but I am done with the walls.

Ice storm

We were supposed to get more snow than ice but instead we got a little snow and quite a bit of ice. Definitely not as much as other places but enough. I went out and took some pics so I will post those.

Baby gets new stuff

My mom sent baby a little outfit and Great-Grandma Riggs gave him a rattle. I will put a picture of them on here. I think the outfit is the first new clothes he has gotten. It is so cute. Thank you Grandma. and Great-Grandma.

Home from Grandparents and Youth Rally

We got home this afternoon from Stoneboro,PA where Dan preached a Youth Rally for my grandparents church. It was a good service. We went to Bro. and Sis. West's house for a great meal before church and went back with the church people for a snack afterward. It was all very good and wonderful time of fellowship. Thank you Zion AWM church for having us and to the West's thank you for the food, fun and fellowship.
It was good to be with my grandparents and Aunt Bonnie for a while. Thank you to them for the warm place to sleep and the wonderful lunches.

Fun evening with Sis. Reed

We had a great time over at Sis. Reed's house this evening. She goes to our church and lives alone so we thought we would go play games with her. We taught her Mexican Train game. She won two out of three of the games. Here is a picture of her that was taken this last year at our Valentines Dinner we had for our church.

Dr. Appt

Hi All,
Dr. Appt went good and I go back in 3 weeks then every two weeks. Baby is doing good. He lets me know that he is around. Dan was able to feel the baby a while back and he just said it was a cool feeling. :) Well I have 13 weeks to go. take care all.
It is extremely cold here. Currently about -1. I feel like I was transported to Montana overnight.

Ashley Young had her baby

Bruce and Ashley Young had a little girl. Sheyanne Harmony was born 1/13/09 At 34 1/2weeks. She weighed 5 pounds and was 17 1/2 inches long. Sheyanne has to stay at the hospital until next week sometime since she was born premature. I went with Sheyanne's grandparents, Bro. and Sis. Young, to see Ashley and Sheyanne. It is always wonderful them in service. We are so happy for them Congrats Bruce and Ashley. I will post a couple of pictures.

It's Snowing

Yeah we are getting some snow. Well I know some people would not be impressed but for a couple coming from Montana and Michigan we both love snow. I asked Dan if I could go sledding but for some reason he said I was NOT allowed. I am sure if I called my Dad he would let me go cause he asked me if I was going. In that case "someone" in the backgroud of Dad's phone said NO!! Everyones against me. I tried the line that the baby would love it but that didn't work either. Oh well (Sigh)
No, i'm just kidding although it would be lots of fun, but I will enjoy it from in here and maybe go walk around in it. they are calling around 8 inches so it definately is beautiful.

Saint of God enters his Eternal Reward

Today we went to the funeral of Rev. Howard McConkey. He is going to be greatly missed by all. Bro. and Sis. McConkey were so faithful to come to revival services. He was known for many things such as: Prayer warrior, faithful pastor, saint of God, a man of many smiles and encouragement, dedicated to all and many more. Continue to remember Sis. McConkey and the rest of the family.

New Year's get together

Hansel and Danae Young and Carlin came over yesterday. We had a good time and enjoyed each others company. Justin, Dan, Hansel and Danae all played a game of Ping Pong. We also played some other games. Here are some pictures from last night.

Happy New Year to everyone

Hope you all have a Spirit filled, wonderful new year. We went to a watchnight service last night where Dan, Justin, and Bro. John Treese preached. There were several specials also. God's Presence came down in the service.
Now today some friends are coming over to play games and eat food. Hansel and Danae Young and little Carlin are coming over. Of course Justin Jessup is already here so he will be here.
