Annie Update-2/13/09

Feb 12 3:55 p.m.
Just talked to Julie and she wanted me to give this update. Annie is doing much better today. She has been awake almost all day and has eaten "real" food. The bone marrow result that they have been waiting on came back as the "better" result. Annie was able to be moved to a regular room today which they are very grateful for. Her blood pressure is still not exactly what they would like it to be but the doctors are working on that. Pray that they will be able to get this stable. Also pray that her blood counts remain stable. They will probably be in Miami at least thru the weekend. Pray that they will get to come home and have a little bit of rest before Annie's next round of chemo. Thanks again to everyone for your prayers and for your words of encouragement. They mean a lot! Annie is holding her own. This morning she woke up and proceeded to let the world know she was still kickin'. Poor other kids in the PICU! It was wonderful to hear her cry. She also drank part of a bottle. Her blood counts were stable this morning. The doctors are still working to get her blood pressure down. Pray that they will be able to figure this out so she will be able to move out of PICU. (Rachel)
